Landfill Rescue
Landfill Rescue is a VR simulation developed as part of a USDA-funded initiative to raise awareness of landfill hazards before they escalate into disasters. Built for professionals in waste management and environmental safety, the experience guided users through real-world case studies involving overfilled, leaking, or improperly managed landfills.Through interactive decision-making, players were tasked with identifying signs of infrastructure failure and choosing appropriate interventions, emphasizing the importance of speaking up when conditions appear unsafe.

CASCADE: Landfill Emergency
Cascade is a VR simulation created for Rowan University’s Disaster Management program to demonstrate the potential of immersive training tools in emergency response education. The project visualized a fictional landfill failure scenario designed to immerse users in a high-stakes environment and introduce basic principles of disaster assessment and response.
Arctic Rescue
Arctic Rescue is a VR simulation demo created for the Federal Aviation Administration to explore the use of immersive media in pilot training scenarios. The experience places players in a time-sensitive helicopter rescue mission on an isolated Alaskan island. The objective is to safely locate and extract a stranded fisherman before a severe blizzard makes conditions unmanageable. The scenario was designed to emphasize decision-making, navigation, and environmental awareness under pressure.
MEDICAL & SCIENTIFIC VISUALIZATION
Projects were completed using a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, and After Effects, with a focus on clear communication of scientific concepts across different visual styles and media. The goal in each case was to translate complex biological and medical information into accurate, accessible, and visually engaging content for learning and outreach. This collection includes a range of visualizations created during my undergraduate studies in Medical and Scientific Visualization. The work spans 2D and 3D formats, including anatomical illustration, procedural graphics, animation, and educational visual aids.
WATERPOD
WaterPOD is a VR simulation developed as part of my master’s thesis and funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through its Water Workforce initiative. The project introduces users to wastewater treatment systems and highlights career pathways in the water sector. Built for deployment in educational and workforce training contexts, the simulation allows users to explore a virtual treatment facility, interact with animated systems, and engage with different water-related job roles.
CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
Crystallography VR is a virtual learning tool developed in collaboration with Rowan University’s Physics Department. The simulation was designed to help students better understand crystallographic structures by allowing them to visualize and manipulate lattice systems in an immersive 3D environment. The experience supports active learning and spatial reasoning, making abstract concepts more accessible to undergraduate physics students.
RESUME

ABOUT
I am a technical artist and 3D generalist with a background in biology, scientific visualization, and engineering. My focus is on creating clear, interactive visuals across VR, games, and educational media. I work comfortably across both artistic and technical pipelines, with experience in Unity, Maya, Substance, and the full Adobe Creative Suite. My work is shaped by interdisciplinary thinking and research-driven production. I’ve developed and deployed virtual learning spaces, simulations, and 3D assets for education, training, and workforce development. My strengths lie in adapting to different visual styles, translating complex STEM topics into accessible visuals, and tailoring content to the end user.
